About Us

What started out as a wintertime hobby, working out of our two-car garage at home, has turned into a year-round business.

In the summer of 2005, a parcel of land that we had been interested in for many years had finally became for sale. This land was owned by a long time 'Machinery Jockey' and friend, Gene Hinrichs. Gene passed away several years ago, and when his wife Sara deceided to sell the property she remembered our interest and gave us the chance to purchase the property and make a dream come true.

In the Fall of 2005 we broke ground and began construction of our new shop and office facilities. After many long hours we were finally ready to move our business. In January 2007 we officially moved into our new location:

Kessel Farms Inc.! Located at 839 US RT 52, on the South edge of Amboy, IL. Just over the Green River bridge.
